I make a Mean Green Bean

I was asked to whip up a salad to go with tonight's "leftover dinner" but alas even I cannot make a salad without greens! (No makings for a greek either) so I decided to cook up some green beans instead, they're still healthy if I smother them in butter right??

A Mean Green Bean:

Ingredients:
Sauce-
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup butter
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp (1-2 cubes) bouillon

1 pound green beans

Recipe:

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and heat until almost boiling, reduce to simmer and leave for 20 minutes.
  2. While sauce is simmering, boil beans for 3-4 minutes (until your personal cooked/crispy balance is achieved).
  3. Pour sauce over bean and garnish with sesame seeds if you are artsy.
Voila! Enjoy.
